JSC Shipbuilding plant «Severnaya verf» is one of the leading enterprises of the defense industry of Russia.

«Severnaya verf» has been included into ZAO «United Industrial Corporation») , which rules over the industrial assets (Moscow) since 2004.

Navy ships and commercial vessels of different purpose are the main production of the yard.

The yard has great experience in building such Navy ships as: corvettes, destroyers, trawlers, antisubmarine and patrol ships. Scientific research vessels and passenger vessels, timber vessels, trawlers, container ships and RO-RO vessels have been launched at the yard.

The quality system management on the base of international standards ISO 9000 is introduced on the plant.
