The keel-laying of second supply vessel of the project VS 470 PSV MkII took place in «Severnaya verf».
The contract for building two hulls of commercial supply vessels was signed with shipbuilding company «Eidesvik Drift AS» (Norway) in March this year.
The vessel is designed by Norwegian design bureau Vik Sandvik. The length – 73,5 m, the breadth – 16 m, DWT – 2,5 thousand tones. The weight of the hull is 1330 tons.
The purpose of the vessel is to ship different dry cargo, methan and cement; also it can be used as platform supply vessel.
The vessels will be fully built in Norwegian shipyard Westcon after the building of the hulls is carried out in «Severnaya verf».
