Sergei Zavyalov has been appointed United Industrial Corporation Surface Shipbuilding project director.

Sergei Zavyalov has been appointed United Industrial Corporation (OPK) Surface Shipbuilding project director to supervise OPK shipbuilding assets.

Note:
Sergei Zavyalov, born in Leningrad in 1961, graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute in 1985, majoring in shipbuilding and ship repairs.

In 1985-1986 he served as a foreman at the Zhdanov Shipyards (currently, Severnaya Verf), between 1986 and 1988 served in the army and then worked as a foreman and Almaz section head. Between 1990 and 1992 he organised shipbuilding and repairs at the state-controlled Sudoekologia business. From 1992 to 2001 he was Ako Barss general director and from 2001 to 2005 Vyborg Shipbuilders general director.
