The solemn divine service in St. Andrew Pervozvanny yard’s chapel honour was performed on the 13th of December in Severnaya verf.
The yard’s chapel was built for enterprise’s means in 2003 and it was named in St. Andrew Pervozvanny honour, who is supposed to be one of the most honorable saints in Russia, the patron of sailors and shipbuilders. Its decoration is made by yard’s wood workshop.
The chapel is included into Nikolo-Bogoyavlensky marine cathedral as per metropolitan of Saint-Petersburg and Ladoga Vladimir’s blessing.
For occasional religious rites priest father Alexis is going to arrive at the yard’s chapel.

The first solemn church service at the Severnaya (Putilovskaya) yard territory was performed in a year after the official opening of the yard, the 16th of November, 1913. In yard’s history this day is honored as the day of yard’s blessing. The program of this event included the launching of first rescue ship of submarine ships, the keel-laying of two light cruisers and six destroyers. Founded for carrying out huge naval orders in the beginning of twentieth century, Putilovskaya yard started the fullfilment of Large-scale shipbuilding program for Russia Navy fleet repair.
