The vessel built at «Severnaya Verf» celebrated its 90-year anniversary |

The solemn ceremony dedicated to Andreevskiy flag first hoisting 90 years anniversary was held on board a ship «Kommuna» in Sevastopol. One of the oldest ships of Russian Navy was built at Putilovsiy plant (now shipbuilding plant «Severnaya Verf») and was commissioned to Navy in July 1915.
«Despite its age, the vessel celebrated its 90 years anniversary at service demonstrating its good state and high technical readiness», - said the Black Sea fleet commander, vice-admiral Victor Mardusin at the ceremony.
«Kommuna» is the only Emperor’s fleet vessel that is still at service», - he noted. Rescue vessel has lifted from the bottom and helped to more than 150 ships and submarines while being at service.
The representatives of «Severnaya verf» and its main shareholders, United industry corporation, which is now patron on the famous vessel, took part in the ceremony.
